I have flip4mac $180 HD version, but I don’t have the option of outputing windows media via AE’s render engine.

How do I do this? Is this Possible? Is there an easier way to output Windows media?

I have the CS3 Student editon if that makes a difference. THANK YOU in advance!!!!!!!!

    Have you tried using file>export?

Yes this works, but the encode sucks. It’s the same as encoding an amination codec, and then taking it into quicktime and exporting it with flip4mac. They both rendered really soft, and there was a pretty major color change…

I know it’s possible to, on a mac, output to windows media, I just dont know if flip4mac is the way to do it? What is my solution?

The thing that is frustrating is that I know that it is possible becuase I saw it on a G5 at my internship, but the person whose computer it was left the company and took the computer with her before I got a chance to get ask her….

Might be an older version of AE. In AE 5 or 6 you could render in Windows Media on a Mac. In AE 7 this function was not included anymore
