Hi. Trying to sort out an issue with text sizing.

So, I made a video in 1920 1080 sequence setting, using footage native to the same size. For the end credits, I made a simple text title with the text tool, and dropped it in at the end of the show.

I then export to the Youtube setting via SHARE. When the video finally compresses, the QT file shows that the text has been enlarged, and for some inexplicable reason, the text is cut off by some unseen constraint (aside from being off center and too large).

The sequence version looks fine and plays fine, & is fully rendered. However, when I go to item properties, it does show no size listed. Is there a way to create a predictible “container” of default 1920 x 1080 frame for text?

While I am at it, I just did a test title. When I type in four lines of text in the controls tab, those lines show up auto-centered with the top line starting dead center of the frame, and the last line is totally off the screen, and is just gone. You cant stretch, scroll or find that text line….

Now. I predict that the answer is to use photoshop graphics, but I just want to check because the time saved using FCP graphics would seem to be worth it if I am just doing something wrong…

    Thank you bovines!

If anyone cares to chime in on this I would be grateful. If not for the $$ charges for Applecare, I’d call them. As it is, I am left to crawl the web to look for answers…

    Thanks
