  working with 23.98 in a 29.97 sequence?

  Hello Everyone,

  I’m working on a project that consists primarily of footage shot on the DVX100b in 24p Normal, 4:3. I followed Graeme Nattress’s instructions and imported the tapes using the DV-NTSC preset and am working in a 29.97 timeline. I need to incorporate a small amount 23.98 footage (ProRes QTs, 1280×720). What is the best way for me to work with all the footage in the same sequence? Should I run the 23.98 media through Compressor and if so, what settings should I use? I will ultimately be outputting to DVD.
