  Trouble reinstalling FCS

  I finally just upgraded to Snow Leopard. I did an erase and install on the hard drive.
  I am now trying to reinstall FCS2 which was an upgrade from FCP 5. It now says my previous serial number is invalid… I know it IS valid. What do I do?

  Did you by any chance purchase FCP 5 as an upgrade as well? If my memory serves correctly It’s looking for a Full license serial number…so you need to find your last full license number…not an upgrade number.

  I believe 5 was a full version… would I have to actually reinstall 5 before I upgrade to 6?
  I tried the 4.5 HD number as well…. that didn’t work either… I have the original 3.0 number that was on the G4… but surely I wouldn’t have to go back that far….

  I’m pretty sure the Code I use is from my FCP 4 because that’s the last full license I have.
