    Hi,

Here’s my problem: movie1 (sequence) I duplicate this, and this is what happens: “movie1 copy” AND “movie1 copy”. It changes my original sequence, and it replaces the footage name with “movie1 copy”.
Can someone help me put a stop to this madness? Do I need to change a setting or is my FCP 7.01 spazzing out?

    Thanks!
    C

to duplicate are you right clicking on the sequence in the browser and selecting “duplicate”?

Non-linear: all the time and nothing but.

correct. As I continued with the project, it stopped, but I want to know how to prevent it in the future.
