  FCP Compatibility

  Hi, I have many projects which have been started with FCP HD 4.5
  I want to buy a new iMac and install FCP 7 on it. Will the old FCP 4.5 projects be compatible with the new FCP 7?

  Yes. In general, forward compatibility is never an issue, bacward compatibility is always an issue.

  Great thanks! What about if the project was started on FCP 4.5 HD can it be opened on FCP 4 Express?
