  How Do I Cut .mts Files?

  Below is an email from my editor. Can anyone shed light on how to load and cut an .mts project? Thank you.

  “Thomas, The discs Sam gave us can’t be imported by FCP. I tried loading it onto suite 8 but couldn’t because the files weren’t .mov files. They are .mts files which is a file structure for adobe premiere. I tried to figure out a way to convert them to .mov files but was unsuccesfull. I’ll ask Lauren to see if she can figure it out today. -Mark”

  You need a program like ClipWrap to use mts.
