  Disconnected Media but it isn’t

  When I open final cut pro to start one of my projects I receive one of these messages saying:
  
  This when I press reconnect media
  

  But nothing really disconnected. All my media is on g-tech 4 tb hard drive. I don’t understand. Can some one help me on this?

  Look at the dialog. It’s the render files that are missing — not your media files.
