Remove ugly clip highlight in sequence!
I have a few clips in my sequence highlighted with a really ugly mustar yellow – I have no idea how/why I did that, but does anyone know how to remove that highlight?

Don’t you think it might improve your capacity to use the software if you worked it out yourself with a quick look at the manual. Personally if I do something unwanted or unexpected, I immediately try to work out how and why so I can either avoid making mistakes or utilize features. Just expecting others to tell you without any effort on your part seems a tad selfish.
Have a go and if you are truly stumped let us know.

The Tide with stain blocker filter might work, but even better would be to see a still frame, then we can really help you. The little icon above the Cow reply window that looks like a head with a hat above it meant for posting pix. Do keep in mind however, tiffs don’t work, but jpgs will do just fine..

You have labeled the entire clip with that color in the FCP browser. So, find the clip in the browser, right click on it, and change the label to none.

Wow. I’ll bet Ron is glad people come here instead of using the manual. The poor guy wouldn’t even know what to look up. It’s not exactly an obvious feature and certainly a decent question. Perhaps for the basics forum, but a fair question.
