1 Person arguing with him self, 2 on screen.
Hi there people,
Ok so basically let me tell you what i want to achieve. Recently i have been doing some stuff for a client here in Oz that basically involves me shooting some battle rapping (8 Mile Style) cutting it together and outputting, fairly basic stuff and its at times very entertaining, allways offensive. An interesting project to work on none the less (https://www.gotbeefbattles.com – if you want to see)
I want to do some thing more creative, i have teamed up with a very talented emcee who together, we want to make a video of him battling him self. My basic understanding of this technique is to have a static camera, split it down the middle of the frame, shoot left and right each separately then splice together in Final Cut. As long as the camera remains 100% ‘locked off’ then you shouldnt have a problem with this at all.
But is there any easy way i can do some basic movement with out spending hours with a tracking matte or similar. Im also guessing movement would have to be identical on both right scenes (left & right?)
Is there an advanced 3rd party plugin for this that i dont know about for FCP?
And does this have an editing term when attempting this so maybe i can look around for a plugin?
thanks so much for your help it is much appreciated.
Kind regards.
