I am currently working on a corporate video and I have my audio and my music on 2 different tracks. (My audio is on track 1 and my music on Track 2) When I adjust my audio levels on my first clip on Track 1 it also adjusts the music level on track 2. I am not sure why it is doing this and I was wondering if anyone knows how to separate the 2 tracks and have them work independently.

Select clip … Modify Menu … uncheck “Stereo Pair.”

Unfortunately that did not work. My audio track that is in the 1st clip is affect by the music in the 4th clip. The audio for clip 1 is on track 1. The music is in stereo and on tracks 3 and 4. They somehow have associated themselves and any adjustment to one adjust the other dispute the fact that they are under 2 completely different areas of the timeline. The music is an AIF file and the audio is a final cut file. How do I fix this problem?
