    I feel like this answer must be quite easy but I’ll be darned if I can find it any where; I’ve lost the ability to drag media from the Viewer directly into the Timeline in FCP. I used to do it all the time but now when I attempt to do so, the video itself moves inside the viewer and doesn’t go into the timeline. What have I done to turn this off? I’ve looked all over and can’t seem to figure out what happened. I feel quite stupid that I can’t figure this out and I thank you in advance for any help…

    I believe you might’ve accidentally turned on ‘Image+Wireframe’ on your Viewer [is there a giant X that runs across your Viewer footage?]. Click on the square/’target’ button on your Viewer window and switch it back to just ‘Image’.

    Voila?
