Outputing 23.98 psf to HDCAM SR
The fcp timeline is 1080P 23.98 prores (from red)
The deliverable is HDCAM SR 4:4:4 23.98 psf
Just curious, will I have to use dual-link to output to the SR deck?
or do I just put it the deck in 4:4:4 23.98 psf mode and it captures via single HD-SDI connection
since the timeline is ProRes?any input appreciated.

For 4:4:4…yes, you do. You will need a Kona 3 for this.

I have a multibridge extreme with Dual-link, that should work right?

Yes, sorry. I’m KONA/MAtrox minded. If the Decklink has Dual Link, then you will need to use both to get 4:4:4.

do I have to change the easy setup or sequence to enable it though?
if so my only option is RGB 8-bit 4:4:4 is that right?
UPDATE: Ah I see a “enable 4:4:4 output” on the multibridge control panel

No. That is done via the software interface of the card. HOW? I dunno, I know AJA and Matrox products.

Uh, 4:4:4 is 10 bit…and 12 bit, but I think the card is limited to 10-bit.
