  AU Pitch filter, unreliable for sync?

  Hi,

  I’ve been working with animatics, laying down storyboard panels with audio to then pass on to animators. The animators will then be passing their work back to me so sync will be essential.
  I have been using the AU Pitch filter to alter the character’s audio. However when I export WAVs or MOVs, FCP seems to get SOME of the filtered audio one or two frames out of sync, but only SOME of the time, i.e. it will weave in and out of sync. I’m guessing this is something to do with the filter being not entirely accurate in its rendering.
  Has anyone struck this before, or does anyone know of any work arounds? Is there another audio filtering package perhaps that may be more reliable?

  I have found au pitch n/g for sync.
