  playback problems

  Hi,
  I have some DV footage in my timeline, it plays back fine in the timeline and on DVD and also when made into a DV movie. I recently transfered the movie to Digital Betacam and I notice the footage is ‘steppy’ on playback, likes its missing frames. I have no idea what could be causing this, as the footage plays back fine in my timeline and on DVD

  exported DV PAL project to mini DV tape, which plays back fine, after transfering this to Digital Betacam, parts but not all of the of the video are steppy on playing back of the digital betacam ? could it be a field issue ?, should I make the DV PAL movie with no fields for transfer to digital betacam ?
