Activity Forums Apple Final Cut Pro Legacy Syncing issue

Right, this is my own fault I know however I would really love it if somebody told me there was a solution!

I’m editing a multiclip sequence at the moment with 3 video sources and at about 5 minutes into my edit I noticed that one of the sources was slightly out of sync! It’s only out by 4 frames and I should have noticed earlier, but I didn’t.

Is there a solution to this?

    Thanks,

    Dylan

    RTFM

Here it is from the FCP 7 manual:

    Resynchronizing Angles in the Viewer

If you want to adjust the starting time of a multiclip angle relative to all the other angles, you can scrub through a single angle in the Viewer to resynchronize it.

To adjust the relative start time of a multiclip angle 1 Double-click a multiclip in the Browser or Timeline to open it in the Viewer. 2 Hold down the Control and Shift keys, then click the angle you want to adjust and drag left or right.

Press Control and Shift while dragging over an angle in the Viewer.

The pointer becomes the Scrub tool. As you drag to the left or right, the video frames jog backward or forward. A box with a positive or negative offset value also appears, showing the number of frames you are adjusting this angle’s starting point relative to the others.
    3 Release the mouse button.

The angle is now resynchronized relative to the other angles in the multiclip. If you change your mind, you can undo by pressing Command-Z.

    Thank you for this David.

I’d also like to point out that I did read the manual first however I couldn’t find what you kindly pointed out. Reading the manual is quicker than asking questions on here but there does come a time when help is needed.

    Dylan.
