Exporting 1920X1080 timeline and burning to DVD
What are the best settings to export my 1920x1080i timeline in FCP studio2? Should I use Compressor,or quicktime. Also, what is the best way to burn to a DVD? My footage looks great in timeline but when I get to DVD it leaves a lot to be desired. (I do not have a blue ray burner, just a new iMac)

Thanks for the Link. I usually use quicktime then drop it into iDVD and the quality isn’t great. Hope this works better.
Let me ask this. What is the deal with HD-dvd? I apparently can burn it, but will it play in regular DVD players? Have you seen one, and is there a big difference in quality?
Thanks again, I’ve been in video production for 10 years, but have just started editing this past year.

No. It will play in an HD-DVD Player if you can find one in a scrap heap somewhere…..
