  Why does Sorenson/Quicktime take so long to transcode MP4 to FLV?

  I have a 30 sec mp4. Using sorenson and/or quicktime to squeeze an FLV out of it.
  Its taking 1hr plus!! on iMac 2.16 intel.

  Makes no sense. I have a 30 sec m4v and it takes maybe 3 mintues.

  Any ideas why it takes sooooooooo long?
