  compressing footage from Canon 5d mkII without changing the quality?

  Hi,
  I am editing footage from my Canon 5d MKII in FCP 6.06. I compressed the footage to Apple ProRes 422HQ, but the video got darker and cooler- with a lot more contrast.

  I was wondering whether anyone had suggestions on how to compress the footage without changing the image quality?
