[Chi-Ho Lee] ” I wonder if an eCinema semi-critical is just as good as other brand’s monitors. “

We have a eCinema FX monitor at our facility and I would consider it semi-critical. I think it stacks up favorable with other companies “semi-critical” monitors. JVC and Flanders Scientific both have similar. There’s also a new Panasonic monitor that would compete. If you really need a monitor for critical analysis of color, you’ll easily spend $10-25K for it. So what’s your budget tolerance for buying a monitor?

The $3500-$5000 is the right price. Just wonder if the eCinema is critical enough for broadcast onlining/coloring. It won’t be used for film outs or transfers.
