  Raid issues

  Hey Guys, Im having problems with final Cut, the first, I’m getting dropped frames and the 2nd, the canvas window gets lighter in color when I play the timeline, ALSO its been wanting me to render (in the red) whenever I do the smallest change, insert a photo, or do a cross fade, I’ve been told this is a Drive issue and I can fix it by having a faster drive, BUT i have a 3TB internal SATA raid? so whats causing this?

  I convert all footage to Apple Proress before I bring it in the FCP.

  What are the exact clips sequence specs.

  What is your RT set to, show be set to RT Unlimited, Quality and Frame Rate both on Dynamic.

  ya there all set the Seq is set to Proress 960×540
