    Hey guys,
I am editing a scene that we shot in a bar. The audio capture was close to a micro fridge for parts of the day so I have that hum coming in for any shot in that setup. I have tried a low cut and a low pass and can’t get rid of it. Is there something else I can use or is there a program/software that anyone could recommend. I do not have much experience with soundtrack pro… but we have it on campus.

Soundtrack Pro has a remove noise filter built in that can do a pretty good job of removing constant hums and it is super easy to use.

I highly recommend iZotope RX. It has an excellent denoiser that works best with constant noises like your refrigerator buzz.
