Using multicam, have cut a show, want to make every cut into a dissolve. Can do it manually (takes a while). Is there a way to do this globally?

    Thanks.

If you have FCP 7, you can select the clips, and simply add the “default” transition to them all. If not, put the playhead at the beginning of the set of clips, then select the ones you want to add a transition to , and then drag them all up to the canvas and select overwrite with transition.

Great, thanks, Jerry. Will give it a try. Still using FCP 6…
