  • Auto audio keyframing…

Posted by Michael Lansdell on February 1, 2010 at 10:53 am

This is probably a long shot, but…

I have about two hours of timeline where I have to do this:

The nested sequence at the top has been mixed to all be the same level, and needs to be dropped by a set amount (-16) to fade it out for the audio clips beneath. This is for a multi-language DVD for which there is no proper dubbing budget, which isn’t ideal I realise but that’s not my decision…

So, I wonder if anyone can think of a clever way to automatically insert keyframes into the top two tracks around the beginning and end point of the the audio on ten and eleven? Because this is going to be a loooooooooooong slog otherwise :o(

Try opening the mixer, clicking the record keyframes button, playing the sequence and moving the slider as it plays.

    All the best,

Hi, thanks for this. That helped greatly, but in the end I found it easiest to use the make keyframe shortcut as I was listening through each one. Hopefully I won’t have to do that again!
