How do I edit the color of a video without losing the audio?

I just want to add a little more saturation to my video but when I try to edit the file, it turns into a Composition and the audio is not there anymore. I’m sure it’s something simple but I’m new to After Effects so any advice would really help.

Your audio is most likely still there. You need to replay it in a way that plays the audio or render it out in a format that supports audio. Near the top center of the website is a “search” feature.

Type “audio” in the search term. Select the “After Effects” forum and click search. Select “6 months” in the “time frame” selection.

This exercise will take you to several audio issues that have been covered in the past 6 months which will lead you to a solution for your problem. At the same time you will be introduced to an invaluable tool that you will need as you continue your After Effects journey.
