  Apple ProRes422 HQ

  Im working in FCP6 using the apple prores422 HQ format. When i try to render, it says i do not have the supported codec to render this footage. Any suggestions?

  I am trying to convert footage in quicktime pro, but my apple prores option is not on the list of video settings. why might this be?

  Todd and Marissa,
  Make sure that you have the “Apple Prores 422 Component” in main/Library/QuickTimes.
  If not, re-install the last FC update that you had.
