    Greetings all

Have attempted numerous times to print to video from FCP 6.0.6 to a Sony PD150 camera. Nothing records to tape even though FCP recognizes device.

My sequence Preset is DV NTSC and device Control Preset is Firewire NTSC and Playback Output for video is Apple Firewire NTSC and Audio is Firewire DV.

Have rendered the sequence, removed in and out points and included in and out points.

Noticed when I select Preview button to test the audio, I do not hear a tone.

I do see the message window telling me to start recording after I set parameters in Print to Video dialogue box.

Working from MacBook Pro and have a daisy chain with external drive that includes project and camera connected with Firewire to external drive.

Any and all suggestions most appreciated!!!!

    Regards
    Marlene

My best guess is that your FW drive isn’t passing the signal through it fast enough for the system to work right. If you have an express card slot on that laptop, a second firewire card in there for your camera or deck will likely fix you right up. Seems some FW drives will do this but many don’t.
