My associate and I shot a musical show and I am trying to edit it in FCP 5.0. I am using FCP’s multi-cam features, synching on the Timecode.

The problem is that his footage is a bit dark and I need to use Color Correction to make it brighter. To do this I dbl-clicking his clip in the Timeline to open in the Viewer then correcting the brightness, but it dawned on me that this probably will not work if I want to use it in multi-clip.

It seems that to make two-clips as a multi-clip, it has to be done to the clips from inside the Browser. If this is the case, how do you use a clip that has been color corrected in the Viewer as part of a multi-clip sequence? If one must take clips from the Browser to make a multiclip, how can you add or use one clip that has been color corrected in the Viewer, which happens AFTER a clip leaves the browser? Is there a way to color correct a clip while keeping it in the browser???
