Just a quick question. Is it better to output my finished work to quicktime for import into premiere, or should i just import the file into premiere and go that route. Which gives better results? also, what’s the best codec to use with NTSC DV and NTSC HD DV footage for output??

    thx

i don’t have an answer for the first part of your question (i haven’t used premeire). i would assume the quality should be the same, but i’m sure someone else will have an answer for you.

as far as the codec question, that will largely be determiend by what your destination is. are you going to dvd? tape? files on a hard drive?

I don’t have an answer for the codec question but I have found that importing the AE Composition via Dynamic Link to be a better workflow and does not result in any noticeable difference in video quality from first rendering out a QT and importing to Premier.

    I hope this helps.
