  Video Playback in FCP 6

  Is there any way to play back HD footage in FCP6 through an SD deck. I have a minidV Firewire deck that is connected to my SD TV to monitor my playback but now that I’m working in FCP6 and in HD it only plays back single frames instead of all frames.

  Nope.

  There are no “technical solutions” to your “artistic problems”.
  Don’t let technology get in the way of your creativity!

  I’m no expert on this and I have no personal experience with it but it seems to me that you would a the very least need an HD monitor.
