  make a big audience

  Hi,

  I want to create a big audience with a small group of people. What is the best way to do this?

  We do not have a green screen but there must be a way to do this without a green screen?

  I don’t know if you have a copy of Trapcode’s Particular. There’s an old, but great tutorial on how to crowds using it. You may be able to accomplish something similar using CC Particles.

  Keying will probably be a part of how you accomplish this no matter what, so if you don’t have a greenscreen, at least overlight some people in front of black, or underlight them in front a bright surface.

  Without a particle system, you could I guess manually duplicate your keyed small group as a 3d layer, and use an expression to randomize them around the x and z.
