G-Dec Hardrives now Hitachi

Caught wind of this last month, after I had some directory issues with my external hard drives. Lost a ton of footage and have to wait for the politics to get worked out.
Hopefully Hitachi wont try and change to much on the Hardware design.
G-Dec drives have been good to me these past few years and would hate to see that change. -

Hitachi bought G-Tech almost a year ago now.
They were using Hitachi drives in their units long before Hitachi bought them.
I have one G-Speed eS pre-hitachi ownership, and one post-hitachi, both working great!

Directories issues are nothing related with the HD.
The lack of System maintenance is what cause it.
