  I was curious, are there specifically video editors that edit music videos on a full time basis?

  do you know of any reliable sites that have any information at all on the process, rates, tricks, hints, etc on the business?

  Nope. I just know editors. And I don’t think they share their tricks of the trade, or how they do things… Not the ones I know anyway. It is a very high end business and people tend to work their way up, and learn on the job.

  Find a post production house that specializes in commercials and music videos, and try to get a job there. That’s the best advice I can give.
