  Sound timing problems.

  I have 4 minutes footage in 30p sequence (not 29.97!) ProRes from Mark II, and I was using a separate recorder for sound (tascam dr-100). Everything is perfect, but then I’m export a piece of sound (I send it to sound designer) in WAV or AIF (48khz 24 bit) using QuickTime compression and put it back in just the same sequence it became 9 frames shorter.
  I’m really crazy bout it, where is the problem? Help!

  You should have converted the frame rate to 29.97 before you started editing.
  What for? I’ll loose quality, am I?

  Oh, and did you convert it to ProRes?
  Shure, first I have converted H264 to ProRes it in Mpeg Streamclip.

  Because you are slowing the image by .1%, you need to do the same on the audio.

  But how?
  I have native 30p, am I? And have audio in 30p, it fits perfect. But then I just export my sound and put it back it became shorter.
  Everything in 30p.

  So, It’s a kind of bug and I have to conform my footage in 29.97 in Cinema Tools?
