  • reconnecting mediafiles – no sound?!

It was not suppose to happen but it did. My harddisk crashed and I lost all my mediafiles for a project that I am doing. All there was back was MTS versions of the files that I then struggled to convert into moviefiles once again (using a emisoft mts converter).

Now I have trouble reconnecting the files. The new mediafiles are named with numbers instead of date, time etc which I guess, makes it hard for FCP to reconnect to them, as the clips in the project are named with date and time.
Nevertheless I have managed to reconnect some sequences. – but there is no sound.

I don’t understand that it seems like it is able to reconnect some of it, but not all. And even though it looks like some sequences are reconencted (as I can see the video in the canvas), all the clips are still marked as offline.

Can anyone give me a clue? I need som eserious help here!
