  Hi All, How are ya? Need a bit of help… After importing JPEGS into a project, FCP closes down/crashes when I try to open large picture files in viewer. Any ideas to prevent this?

  Minimize the file sizes by dropping the dpi. Video only requires 72dpi at most for quality purposes.

  Also, keep the frame size the absolute minimum for what you need.

  If you have huge file sizes, FCP will have trouble working with those files.
