Greetings all. Having an issue with the FCP time line. Usually when I drag a clip from my browser window into a new sequence, Final cut warns me if the format of the clip differs from the sequence settings and then ask if i want to change the sequence settings to match the new media, now its not giving me that warning anymore and its getting frustrating cause i have a 2 hour movie that i have to add chapter markers and it wants my to render but that will take forever. any ideas whats happening?

This warning only appears the first time you bring a clip into the timeline. It will not appear for any subsequent edits. Is this the first time you’re entering something into the timeline?

    All the best,

    Tom
