  Digitising problem

  Hi there!

  First of all, I would like to clarify that I am a total beginner. I have a problem: my camera (JVC GY – HD250) is not being recognised by my final cut pro system as an external device, therefore I am unable to digitise some footage. The message that appears after I connect the camera to my MAC through a firewire and initiate final cut is: “Unable to locate the following external device: Apple Firewire NTSC (720 x 480)”. I have tried everything I know and am pretty sure that I have followed all the camera manual’s specifications. Can someone please help me?

  What easy set up did you use in FCP?

  There are no “technical solutions” to your “artistic problems”.
