Help!! I’m trying to output something i made in AE7.0 pro. I’m outputing it to a quicktime file using the .264 compression. It is a hd format project, but has no audio. after it gets to the end of the first sweep, i get an error code and AE has to shut down. the error message is:

sorry, After Effects has crashed. See https://www.adobe.com/products/aftereffects.html for know issues. If you still can’t resolve the issue, please contact Adobe Technical Support (2).

what am i doing wrong? ive never had a problem exporting before. i meet all requirements and have updated drivers. there are no crazy pluggin’s that are being used…

i can output using a different compression, but the quality is not near as good. why am i having this problem??

Try rendering with Animation compression, then use Quicktime Pro to compress to H.264.

Sometimes AE has trouble rendering to some codecs.

Well, not that it’s probably a good way to solve it.. Then if he’s got the same problem as I do, I get the same error. Then he can’t start the program at all since it crashes during launch.

So if anybody’s got a tip for that, that’d be great 😉
