  Importing problems

  Hi there guys i have a problem with final cut when it comes to importing the footage that i shoot. i am shooting in 4/3 format but when i import the material in final cut it puts some black bars like it would be shoot in 16/9, although the original material in the capture scratch folder does not have those black bars, could any of you help me with this problem pls. the settings for 4/3 i make in sequence setting are also made for 4/3.

  Check to make sure you don’t have Anamorphic checked in the Browser window for the clip. It sounds like you imported the footage using an Anamorphic preset.
