  Compressor IMage Sequences and Alpha Channels

  Hello all,

  I have an image sequence (tif) that contains an alpha channel(straight) but when I go to convert this files to a Quicktime in Compressor 3.5.1 using ProRes 4×4 the alpha channel is lost.

  When I do the same steps using AE CS4 to ProRes 4×4 the alpha channel holds up and works great in FCP.

  So are there any tips or tricks to work with alpha channels in Compressor?
