  Pro Tools session missing a Sequence file

  I have a Pro Tools session (LE 7.3.1) with a video file from FInal Cut Pro (5.1.4) When I attempt to re-open the Pro Tools sessions I get a message: “The movie file “Sequence {number}” cannot be found. WIthout this file, the movie cannot play properly.” The sequence is no where to be found. I thought the exported QuickTime file would be a stand alone.
  When I attempt to open a backed up Pro Tools session that did not have the video file included in that save, I get the same message.
  I’ve done this many time with no difficulty.
  Thoughts?

  I suspect the message means the quicktime file from FCP was not self contained so it needs media from a FCP sequence which it cannot find.

  Can you get the quicktime remade as a self contained?
