  • Are logged clips retrievable after a crash??

I was logging RED Cam footage in the Log and Transfer window in order to transfer them into ProRes. FCP crashed and when I rebooted the logged clips were no longer in the queue. I had set a logging bin and the logged clips are not there either. Is there any way to retrieve this information? I had put in about 3-4 hours into logging that footage and it would be great if I didn’t have to do it again!!

If the clips were finished encoding, then they should still be in your capture drive.

Also, unless you turned autosave off for some reason, it defaults to 30 min’s so at least some of your work, if you were only logging and transferring should still be there.

Access your autosave vault under File>Restore project. after you select restore project it should be fairly self explanatory.
