It took me a few minutes to figure this out, but when I have Safari running FCP slows to a crawl. An export that should take less than a minute tells me it’s going to take 2 hours. Other than not using Safari ever, is there a fix to this? Has anyone experienced this? My guess is it has something to do with the Cover Flow feature using the video card, but that’s my guess.

    Anyone have any ideas?

    Here’s my system.

    FCP 6.0.6
    Safari 4.0.3
Mac G5 dual 1.8 Power PC
    OSX 10.4.11

Guy walks into the Cows and says “FCP runs slow when I run Safari”
    And the doctor says……
