I just purchased the new Magic Bullet Suite and I’ve been having issues getting it to run (or even show up) in the effects drop down list. I’m running Final Cut 5.0.1 right now, and I’m wondering if upgrading will do me good.

Here’s the questions: If I upgrade, will the newer version be able to open/import my old project files from FCP 5?

I do not believe that is FCP5 compatible.

I’d check with Magic Bullet for their system requirements, and yes, your old projects will open. I would still check to make sure they support PPC machines if you haven’t moved to intel yet.

I think the first version of MBS required FCP 5.1 and FXPlug.

Yeah, I’ve checked with the product manufacturer; MBS is for 5.1.4, and I”m running 5.0.1. Looks like it’s time to upgrade!

    Thanks
