I am using AECS3 on my intel mac, and importing my rendered comps into FCP6. I’m getting a lot of blurriness and stutteriness once the comps are rendered in FCP. I have been using the animation codec in AE & rendering at full quality, but the FCP sequences are NTSC/DV. so I tried using all sorts of different codecs and frame rates and am still getting the same thing. I’ve checked motion estimation as “best” in my FCP sequence, but that didn’t help. This is weird because this never happened in previous versions of AE. Any ideas???? Here are 2 short clips that show the problems:

    blurriness: https://www.elysiumproductions.com/jkh/susan.mov
    stutteriness: https://www.elysiumproductions.com/jkh/help.mov

p.s. please ignore the cheesiness of this photo montage!!

    update..

ok so I’ve figured out it’s not an FCP problem because when I open these movies in the quicktime player, they look the same. (still w/the blurriness/stutteriness)

    thanks for any help!!
