Does ram affect the quality of video export?

Ive been working with Final Cut, Motion, and Flash- trying to get text or an object to scroll slowly across the screen. Each time I export the video, it seems to drop frames and stutter during playback. I’ve tried this in various programs, and no luck getting smooth playback. Any ideas?

What codec are you exporting as? Animation codec? What drive array are you playing the video off? What system? What other applications do you have open as well as quicktime player?

I’ve tried multiple codecs- animation always has the worst results. I’ve also tried mpeg4 h264 etc… And no avail.

I’m using osx leopard, usually when I play back the video I only have QT open.

I’m playing all clips from my internal drive as well.
