  shadow/highlight flicker issue…

Are you watching interlaced footage on a progressive monitor? bogiesan This is my standard sigfile so do not take it personally: “For crying out loud, read the freakin’ manual.”

  No its not an interlace issue.

  Its a piece to camera. man with black suit taking to camera (Mid shot).

  The background is an over exposed city skyline. the raw footage without the shadow/highlight filter plays fine (without any flicker, but requires lots of help to bring the bg into exposure.)

  Only when i apply the shadow/highlight filter (manual settings!) do i experience some flicker over the black suit.
