  Can somebody with FCP 7 export an XML file for me? – FAVOR!!’

  I was editing a project on FCP 7 in an editing suite. Earlier today, I saved it to a USB and brought it home, before realizing I don’t have FCP 7 (only FCP 6). Can somebody with FCP 7 please open my project, export a XML file and then e-mail it back to me? I will not be in the editing suites again until next week. 🙁

  I’d really appreciate it! The file is really small. It shouldn’t take any time!

  G’day Andy,

  I’m about to ask a co-editor to do the same thing for me.

  Is there a particular xml version in fcp 7 I should ask them to export as for my fcp 6.0.6

  I do believe I found the answer on another post. That cow can be so creative and so thorough as well. I’m presuming now I ask for a version 4 xml.

  Yep thats the one you need Bergen … XML v4 (or earlier) for FCP6
