  Multiclip angle loosing media information.

  Hello,

  We are having a strange trouble with our multiclip edit. We are editing mainly with 2 videos + 1 audio. The video comes from P2 and we convert it to Quicktime with Final Cut. Audios are wav.

  We are working on a 2x2gb G5 with 4,5 GB RAM, XRAID with 3TB. Mac OS 10.4.11 and Final cut 6.0.03.

  We sync fine, and it edits to the sequence nicely. but when we start editing the multiclip angles, sometimes the angle looses track of which master clip is related to and takes the name of its neighbour angle clip. as long as the media is there it keeps referencing to the right media, but sometimes it looses track of which media file it was and then it is nightmare.

  as we want ot offline and then offline back into HD, this is really worrying.

  we had worked with multiclips before, when there were tapes and we redigitised to HDV from the original tapes, after having offlined in DV.

  Has anybody come around something similar?

  hi,

  We thought that by adding angle names to the clips and resyncing the problem was solved. it was solved temporarily, but when we move or copy those clips to another project some ramdon clips (inside the multiclip) start loosing their names and adopting that of their neighbour clips.

  Can anybody help???
